Award Funding
The University School Scholarship Fund is an endowed scholarship with the Southern Illinois University Foundation. An annual scholarship will be given in memory of University School and will be for as long as the SIU Foundation exists. Although the fund is endowed, meaning no additional donations are needed for the scholarship to continue, additional donations and interest earned by the fund itself will enable the principal to grow allowing multiple awards per year.
Scholarship Committee
The University School Scholarship Fund is governed by a Scholarship Committee which oversees the two funds, transfers excess money from the Current Fund to the Endowment Fund, and participates in the selection of the annual award recipient. The current Scholarship Committee members are:
Linda Brandon (U-High class of 1957)
Dede Ittner (U-High class of 1957)
Pam Jacobini (U-High class of 1967)
Mary Simon (U-High class of 1932)
